How to Get More Facebook Fans With Almost No Effort

- Friend Requests - Facebook is the most trafficked site in the US. This means that there are lot of people on there already, some you may know. Start by asking friends and family to become fans of your page and also request that they share it with their own networks. This type of promotion costs nothing and can have quite a viral effect to it. Just like with PPC, once a person becomes a fan it will show in their time-line, thus prompting others to check it out and hopefully become fans as well.
- Promote It - If you already have an existing site or blog, put a link on their letting visitors know of your Facebook page. Many sites don’t promote their own Facebook page and yet they wonder why they don’t get more fans. By putting a link in visible places that are visited by others, a person can gain new fans without any further effort. These days, people are putting their Facebook Fan pages on their business cards, website, blog, cars, and other places where it can be seen.

I’d only recommend Facebook Ads to get the initial growth of your fan page going a bit because unless you target your users very very well it could be a costly exercise even at CPC of a few cents. But, if you are really serious and have a good offer to promote then it certainly helps you overcome the initial difficulties in getting fans.
Agreed Steve. It’s good to use Facebook Ads to get the initial buzz going and build some fans. Once you have fans, it’s up to the admin to continue putting out things that will draw the audience back as well as engage them to share the content more. This will help to increase the fans over time without having to pay for it.
In a long time period the methods for getting more fans may be effective but if you want it in a shıort time there is a problem.So I solved it with a web site. Glad they can help. Our Twitter is much bigger than our Facebook as well and trying to increase it on Facebook is much harder than with Twitter, but we’ve got the two connected so we publish both feeds at the same time so the content is almost similar.

Getting fan is the probably the hardest part of increasing traffic from Facebook, but it’s worth it and will grow over time. It’s best to start now and get ahead of the competition.
