I am surprised that the need for computer programmers is declining… With everything written in software and all. I wonder if it is because of the huge upsurge in outsourcing that is taking the demand in growth of this profession… I certainly can see a rise in the need for computer specialists however for sure!

I guess the need for programmers has declined because we haven’t moved to the next generation of languages, once OO languages become outdated then systems will have to be re-built which will lead to a wave of hirings of programmers.
